Yawn! Very sleepy today. Gonna sleep right after i blog. So, what's been happening the past few days...?

Well, my cute LG Ice-cream pink phone is spoilt. Can't even start at all! Must send for repair! *sigh* So i went to Starhub sunplaza to renew my contract, got a new phone too! This time it's LG Cookie. Haha. Latest colour, PINK! LoL. No pic though, lazy to take.

Then, last Mon, 11/05/09, i took leave to spend the day with mummy! She went to Philippines again on Tues, 12/05/09, morning. This time, for 3 weeks. *sigh* But, it's the last trip, i think, hopefully!

Right, lastly, current obsession is the new song from Korean boyband, Super Junior's repackaged 3rd album called 'It's You'. It's a really nice song, been hearing it for so many times now. The song is in both my phone & mp3. Whereas the music video (MV) is in my PSP. LoL. That's how crazy i am! Here's a video of it, with subtitle:

The past few days, since i had time while waiting for the official MV to come out, I romanized the lyric & just sang along with it. Haha. Took me 2 days to romanize Hangeul. Hangeul is quite easy to read actually.

Bad Experience

Blogging again today. Let's see, today's my second day working in the ward with a face mask on throughout the shift, except for break times though. Wah, it was so stuffy! Lack of oxygen, but LOADS of carbon dioxide! LoL! All these due to the swine flu outbreak. Well, all i can say is, FIGHTING!! :)

Ok, so just now, @ EXACTLY 2041hrs, i called Canadian Pizza to order a delivery. So the person answered my call, asked for my location & transferred the line to the Canadian Pizza @ Sembawang area right?...The person who then answered is a malay girl who i must say by far the rudest person to ever answer a customer call! Here's our conversation:-

Receiver: "Hello?"
Me: "Hello? Is this Canadian Pizza?"
Receiver: "Yes."
Me: "Uhh...i'd like to order pizzas pls...?"
Receiver: "Your address."
So i gave my address.
Receiver: "Your order?"
Me: "I'd like Hawaiian Classic & Meat Lover please."
Receiver: "Ok. Any side orders?"
Me: "Nope. That's all."
Receiver: "Ok. Total cost $21.80. Delivery will take 45 mins."
Me: "Ok. Thanks."
Phone cut...

...After that, i was like, "Wth! What just happened!?" *sigh* I was so freaking angry. If possible, i'd like to know her name & just tell her off. If by any chance AT ALL she reads this blog entry (which i doubt ah) i'd like to tell her to answer the call professionally pls. One with a pleasent tone pls, NOT with a DEAD tone pls.

That was a REALLY BAD 1st call to Canadian Pizza experience. I hope i won't get to hear her again the next time i call! I mean, SERIOUSLY!!!

Another new layout, featuring Leeteuk from boyband Super Junior. When i first saw this cute white suit picture of him, i knew i wanted to make a layout out of it. This is another grey-colored layout.

I'm being Leeteuk-bias here. Haha. I have loads of pics of him, but i only chose some nice ones for this layout. The main point of this layout is the standing Leeteuk. Hehe. Oh, & there are some Korean words all over the layout & at the footer right...? Well, those are the lines Leeteuk sing. Haha.

There's also a tiny angel wing on the top right hand corner, to represent Leeteuk, the angel. Haha. i'm crazy huh.

Ok, so that's all i'm blogging about. Gotta go cook dinner now. Mum's not back from Philippines yet. She'll be back next Sat, so in the mean while, i do the cooking. LoL.

I'm back. Went for my eye appointment on the 22nd April. Still seeing flashes & floaters though, but otherwise is as what my doctor said, "Everything's looking good. Retina's attached. You're still seeing flashes coz the fluid is pushing the retina." It's a relief to hear that. Hehe.

Ok, so after that, i went to Causeway point to buy mp3. Need a new one lah. So i bought a 2GB pink ZEN Mozaic, which i named after me, in Korean, 쉴라 (Shuila). Haha. Then went to an electronic store to get a matching pink headphone which i named 아카시아 (Akashia). But, why pink? LoL. Coz it's my fav color! Most of my stuffs are pink btw. After getting the headphone, i went to 77th Street, to get my ears pierced, again. So there's 2 piercings on my right ear while my left has 3. Pics anyone...?

AH! Finally, tomorrow's my day off. I'm so tired after working for just 3 days. LOL. Anyways, today at work, was like any other day in the ward. I was morning shift & in-charge, so i was practically stressed out. But, managed to finish work on time.

Then went for afternoon message/rollcall, & got a surprise. Haha. There was 3 different kinds of cakes on the table. Given by Ka Chi, & 3 other colleagues as today was their last working day. They're taking their advance diploma. Good for them. Here are pictures of the cakes:

But i only ate a slice of the cake (2nd pic). Didn't get to taste the others as my ward Sister wants to give them to the other shifts' staff. Haha. Fair enough. & as if that's not enough, after the message/rollcall, Ka Chi, my colleague, called us to the pantry to eat sushi! Sakae sushi by the way. She ordered it, specially for our front room staffs only! Hehe. Yummy! Here's the pic:

I thought I've already accepted the fact that my mum has to go to Philippines for work purposes, but i guess i was wrong. I cried again this morning, @ 3 am, when she made her way to the airport. Didn't follow her this time coz i needed the rest, as i'm starting work tomorrow. *sigh*

As usual, she'll be gone for 2 weeks & will be back on 25th April, Sat. That's very long. She just came back last Thurs, 9th April by the way. This kind of schedule will be repeated until May, but not sure which day. *sigh* I'll cry again, every time she goes away. I'm so not used to not having her at home, you know. I miss her already. Usually, she'll be resting in her room right about now. I know, I know, I gotta be strong! Aja aja hwaiting!! LOL.

Ok, so I was surfing around looking for info on Leeteuk or Super Junior & I found this video. It's SO cool. Featuring Leeteuk, playing "Sorry, Sorry" on a virtual piano. Check it out:

Cool right!? I was awed by it. Leeteuk is very talented. Haha. I kept watching it over & over again. LOL.

New layout, new blog address & new avatar for my comeback. LoL. Why 'comeback'? Coz, i've been missing since Feb 2007 & because of some rumours which I don't wanna mention.

Anyways, re: this layout, it's featuring the Korean boyband, Super Juniors. Consisting of 13 members but only one member is my fav; his name is Leeteuk (stage name though). Real name is Park Jung-soo & he's also the leader of the group.

Uhh, i got side-tracked didn't i? Back to the layout, these pics are from their 3rd album, 'Sorry, Sorry'. If you scroll down till the end, u'll see another pic of the group. Haha. I just love these kinds of layout, tables layout with a pic footer by the way. I guess i haven't really lost touch in designing & coding of layouts huh...? Spent at least 5-6 hrs designing & coding this though, after so long.

The title of this layout is a song from their album, 2nd track. Bought the album online & received a poster, which is on the wall right now, along with it. The poster is the footer picture by the way. I'm currently & still obsessed with Leeteuk right now, but i've already watched almost all the videos re: him on youtube already. I even saw his room at their dorm. LoL. FULL of white stuffs, his fav colour by the way. I can go on & on re: Leeteuk, but i rather stop here for now.

I'm having my annual leave btw, starting work again next Tues. *sigh* I dread going to work. Nothing new or interesting to talk about anyway. Just a nurse working in a hospital. Well, i gotta get going now. Spent too much time on the laptop, need to give it a rest. Will update again once i'm kinda free.

Hellozzz!! LoL! today, went to school for a meeting. 3 presentations next week & everything is like half-way done. *sigh* Very stressful!

Had a meeting for 2 modules from 11am to 2pm. Another meeting from 2pm to 5.30pm. *sigh* Did charts & some colouring only. Oh yah! During that time, while i was colouring, i didnt realise i had a msg & 3 missed calls from my mum. When i finally read the msg, guess what? My cd which i ordered online finally arrived! LoL. I screeched & jumped around like an idiot! LoL. I was SO happy! Was really eager to go home & get my hands on it. But, i still stayed to finish up my work. Haha.

FINALLY 5.30pm! I went home, quickly changed & went to open MY parcel! Here are some pictures to show ya!

STRESS!!!

School has never been so stressful before. Final semester of the final year. So very stressful till i can't really cope. 4 projects/presentation, & not a single one presented yet.

The week after next is when my group will finally present our very first project. *sigh* Isn't that stressful? Was supposed to have my 2 weeks of medical leave, but i went to school anyway. Too many projects & meetings to do & attend. Tried my best to pay attention to lectures, but it's just so difficult to study with only one 'working' eye. Not that the other eye's not working or anything, just that, it's very blur, & when i say blur, i meant VERY VERY blur.

Not to mention, the pain is still there. My eye is no longer tearing, but it's now dry! Oh my god, remember how i always complain about my eye tearing? So now i'm complaining of how DRY it is! *sigh* Well, at least the redness subsided. It's no longer bloodshot red, i think. LoL. & there are no more floaters & flashes. Yippie!

By the way, the cd i ordered online? It's finally been shipped! Yay! To Japan that is. LoL. I can't wait to get my hands on it! The CD! The DVD! OMG! Can't wait! Back to reality, so, tomorrow's Valentine's Day huh...? I don't really need to celebrate it though. LoL. The day will pass by fast anyway & soon, i'll forget bout it. LoL.

Well, no point talking anymore now. Gotta get my rest now. Eye's been exposed for too long today. Mata Ne!!

I had an operation done! LoL!

Hmm...today's my 2nd post-op day. Haiz, why does it have to hurt so much. Anyway, here's what actually happened. I've been seeing flashes, floaters & distorted images for quite some time. About 5 months to be exact.

So, i finally went to yishun polyclinic on Thursday, 1st Feb. The doctor gave a referral to TTSH Eye Centre & the appointment was on Thursday, 8th Feb. There, i was diagnosed with retinal detachment & needed surgery to prevent it from getting worse. The operation was done on the next day. It was a 2hr+ operation i think.

I was very nervous when i was in the induction room. The anaesthetist set plug for me, asked loads of questions, & then left me to rest awhile. while they finish up the other operation. While waiting, i looked at my surroundings, my blood pressure reading, my heart rate, the drip, EVERYWHERE! LoL. I was so scared. Haha. & then finally, it was my turn. I was pushed in to the operating table, got myself comfortable & they finally induced me. I was feeling drowsy & went to sleep.

The next thing i remembered, i was at the recovery room. The operation was a success! I couldn't even keep my eyes open so I kept slipping back to sleep. LoL. Then a few mins later, i think, i was pushed to the day surdery ward. I was to stay there for 1 day. Mummy & daddy was there with me. Khai came to visit. Hehe. My parents went off at around 8+ but Khai stayed behind till 9+. Haha. I was half asleep when talking to him. LoL.

So now, here i am, typing with one eye covered. The aftermath of the operation is not fun at all! I felt nauseas, sharp pain in the operated eye. The more i strain, the more it hurts. Can't sleep at night, tossed & turned for a long time. When i finally get to sleep, i was awakened again, by the uncomfortable position i was in. *sigh* It was TORTURING! My eye is bloodshot red, & i've been tearing nonstop since the op. There's also 3 different medicine to put. *sigh*

I hope i recover fast. I hate being sick! I was given 2 weeks of medical leave, but, hopefully I can go to school tomorrow. Got loads of stuffs to do, meetings to attend. *sigh* Well, i'm gonna give my eye a break now. Till next time then. Mata Ne!
